About

About

I am an interdisciplinary language researcher and educator whose background spans the fields of psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, clinical psychology, aphasiology, and auditory cognitive neuroscience. I am interested in communication, cognition, emotion, and how they interact. I seek to understand the complex mechanisms driving language processing and patterns of linguistic behavior.

“Laura helped me make sense of seemingly complex, dense datasets. She took the time to go step-by-step and guide me through the material. Her patience made me feel comfortable to engage and ask questions. I owe my understanding of this material to Laura; I don't know what I would have done without her.”
